The IEEE SECON workshops will provide a unique forum to exchange innovative research ideas, recent results, and share experiences among researchers and practitioners in wireless networks, mobile systems and the Internet of Things The focus of IEEE SECON is novel communication technologies and emerging applications and services, involving mobile sensing and communication, and ubiquitous and pervasive computing In addition to the traditional topics published in IEEE SECON, this year the conference would like to especially encourage papers in new applications and services in areas related to Internet of Things, practical energy neutral operation (ENO), communications for actuation and control in Cyber Physical Systems, and the practical understanding of convergent and emergent behaviours of such systems In the past, workshops have focused on fog computing and networking and smart city access networks, but new topics are welcome.
