Designed as a check to the progress of those doctrines which are a dishonor to the very name of God,-Contrary to Scripture,-Sully the divine character,-set bounds to the mercy and love of God,-And draw a cloud of tenfold darkness over the hopes and expectations of nine-tenths of mankind.
