With Directions for making an Estimate of the Charge of any Fabric great of small. Part. II. Containing plain and easy Directions for the Construction of the Five Orders of Architecture, with their Pedestals, Imposts, Arches, Elevations, and Profiles. The usual Mouldings in Architecture. Frontispieces, with the several Doors proper for each Order. Ornaments for Doors and Windows; all accurately described by Modules and Minutes. Likewise a new and easy Method (never before published) of finding the exact Module, or Diameter, in order to the erecting either Column or Pilasters three several ways according to true Proportion: First, Arithmetically. Secondly, Geometrically, by Scale and Compass. Thirdly, By an Inspectional Plain Table, shewing the exact Diameter in Proportion to any Height given, and in all the Variety of Cases that possibly can happen in Practice. Also how to calculate the Diameter of all the Orders, according to the Proportions laid down by any other Author. Likewise the Method of reducing any Module (from 6 to 24 Inches Diameter) to Feet and Inches, by a new Inspectional Table; whereby the Trouble of making and dividing a Module into Minutes, is++
