All these plates are a reissue of those in the quarto 'Holy Bible' published by Bowyer and Fittler in 1795. - Authorised version. - English Short Title Catalog, T123288. - Final leaf = 3K6. - No Apocrypha. - Reproduction of original from British Library. - The N.T. has a separate titlepage. - The titlepages are engraved, that to vol.2 reading: 'The Holy Bible. Published by R. Bowyer, London 1796'. - With an engraved page of contents in each book (three for the Psalms), dated from August 1791 (Genesis) to December 1794 (Revelation) ; the illustrative plates and frontispiece are also dated, the frontispiece being headed: 'Cabinet Bible 1795'. - With occasional brief notes set low on the page so as to facilitate their being cut off by the binder
